FLOATING SALES AND MARKETING SUITE BY DIRKMARINE

Architectural design by Arkitema Architects. Structural design, construction and delivery by Dirkmarine in Copenhagen.

A 3 storey and 11 meter above waterline floating home of approx. 200 warm m2. Materials: Concrete. Steel main superstructure. Alucobond insulated plates. Cross laminated timber CLT. Glass.

Built to be a floating marketing suite for a large south Copenhagen development. Held in place along the quay side by a steel rod spacer system. Designed and built to resist a hurricane right on the side of the vessel, and accidentally tested under such conditions with full success during a hurricane. A testament to the detailed and meticulous structural design by Dirkmarine.
